Mr Burath has over 17 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry and is a registered Professional Engineer. Although being a specialist in Water and Sanitation, his Technical expertise expands over a host of Various other Disciplines ( Structural, Civils, Roads,
Asset Management). He started his career at the Department of Water Affairs and developed key expertise in water resource management, dam safety and licensing of dams. His experience covers feasibility studies and designs for large bulk water and wastewater infrastructure, including procurement and management of large contracts. He has recently increased his expertise in the Water Loss Management field and provides Technical support to Ethekwini and Ilembe District Municipality. He also embraces the needs for Training and Development of people and ensures the necessary procurement policies for Empowerment are implemented.
